As part of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources’ strategy to strengthen cooperation and integration among petroleum sector companies, and to build distinguished partnerships that support the exchange of expertise across various fields, the cooperation protocol between the Egyptian Ethylene and Derivatives Company (ETHYDCO) and Alexandria Petroleum Maintenance Company (Petroment) has been renewed.
The protocol was signed on behalf of ETHYDCO by Chemist Hesham Riyad, Chairman and Managing Director, and on behalf of Petroment by Eng. Amr Osama, Chairman and Managing Director. The renewed agreement aims to further enhance cooperation and provide technical support in maintenance services particularly advanced and smart maintenance solutions.
Following the signing ceremony, Chemist Hesham Riyad affirmed that renewing the protocol contributes significantly to strengthening operational infrastructure. He emphasized that comprehensive maintenance activities and technical support represent key pillars in improving performance, raising efficiency, preserving assets, and reducing operating costs, in addition to being fundamental to ensuring the safety of personnel. He added that this renewed protocol opens wider horizons for continued cooperation between the two companies in maintenance operations and turnarounds, praising Petroment’s distinguished and professional performance in executing major overhaul works. He noted that Petroment is a leading entity in petroleum services and maintenance, holding a significant share of comprehensive maintenance projects within the petroleum sector.
For his part, Eng. Amr Osama, Chairman of Petroment, expressed his appreciation for the long-standing and productive cooperation between the two companies. He expressed his hope that the renewal of this protocol will open new avenues in various fields of comprehensive maintenance, contributing to the exchange of expertise and skills. He added that such partnerships reinforce Petroment’s position as a strategic partner supporting development efforts within the petroleum sector in alignment with the goals of sustainable development.
