Preparing for the Holy Month of Ramadan… The Third Religious Seminar at ETHYDCO

As part of ETHYDCO’s ongoing commitment to promoting religious awareness and reinforcing ethical values among its employees, and under the patronage and in the presence of Chemist Hesham Riyad, Chairman and Managing Director of the Company, ETHYDCO organized a religious seminar entitled “Preparing for the Holy Month of Ramadan.” The seminar was held at the company’s theater and organized by the Public Relations Department, with the participation of several company leaders and employees.
The seminar hosted Dr. Abdel Moneim Doweidar, Imam at the Ministry of Endowments, Consultant of the radio program “Religion is Conduct” on the Holy Qur’an Radio, and lecturer and presenter at the Religious Programs Sector of the National Media Authority (Maspero). During the session, he addressed the virtues and significance of the holy month and discussed how Muslims can prepare for this spiritual journey throughout its blessed days.
The speaker highlighted the key acts of worship that Muslims should diligently observe during Ramadan, while also clarifying permissible matters and warning against practices that should be avoided. He emphasized that proper preparation for the blessed month begins with sincere intention, effective time management, and steadfast commitment to acts of worship—thereby strengthening spiritual and behavioral values in one’s life.
The seminar witnessed notable engagement from attendees, as employees were given the opportunity to raise various religious questions and inquiries. Dr. Doweidar responded to these questions in a direct and interactive dialogue that enriched the discussion and enhanced the practical benefit for participants. This initiative reflects the company’s keenness to promote sound religious culture and to provide an informative and awareness-driven environment within the workplace.
The Public Relations Department invited employees to actively participate in the seminar and engage in direct dialogue with the guest speaker to benefit from his expertise and receive answers to their questions related to the holy month, in a distinguished spiritual atmosphere preceding the advent of Ramadan.
On this occasion, ETHYDCO also prepared a comprehensive program that includes a variety of activities and events throughout the Holy Month of Ramadan, reflecting the company’s commitment to social and humanitarian aspects alongside its industrial and production role.
